Cohesion is guided by the leadership of Pastor Paula, a visionary communicator and community builder with a heart for unity and spiritual renewal.

Pastor Paula
Paula Dannielle has worked in ministry for over 25 years and has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Arizona State University and Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. She is pursuing her doctorate at Duke University and focusing on Biblical interpretation and reconciliation. Paula was ordained into the Christian Ministry in July 2012.
"Pastor Paula" is passionate about ministry, which helps people be reconciled to God and their neighbor. Paula is the lead pastor of Cohesion, a church plant in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to her pastoral responsibilities, Paula is the host of the Above the Divide Podcast, helping followers of Jesus live above the divides of society. She is the author of Dear Sister: There's Something Black Women Want You to Know, which is published by her company, LIS'N, which gives us tools to value the stories of marginalized people. Paula continues to serve the Church by speaking and doing workshops regarding Next Gen Ministry, leadership development, empowering women leaders, and preaching and reconciliation.
Paula is the proud mother of three beautiful young adults: Chayil Destiny, Charity Joy, and Cherish Faith.
